Setting up and managing your subscription

When you create a World of Warcraft Account you are requested to add payment details during the account creation. You can always change your current subscription after the initial setup within the account creation by going on the Battle.net Account Management page.

There you can choose different payment plans:Payment is accepted in Euros and English pounds and includes the following methods:

The basic one-month subscription plan costs €12.99 (£8.99 in the UK)
The three-month plan costs €35.97 (£25.17 in the UK reduced cost of €11.99 ( £8.39) per month)
The six-month plan costs €65.94 (£46.14 in the UK reduced cost of €10.99 (£7.69) per month)

A Prepaid Gamecard will cost 26.99€ / £18.49 (RRP). Each card will give a 60-day subscription to the game, accessible via this website using the scratch-off code on the reverse of the card. The cards will be sold in DVD-sized boxes, localised into English, German, French, Italian and Spanish, and will be available through retail outlets where the game is sold.

A full version of World of Warcraft and an Internet connection will also be required to play the game.

Major credit cards: Visa (including Electron), MasterCard, American Express
Local cards: Carte Bleue (France), Switch, Solo, Delta (United Kingdom)
Electronic Direct Debit: ELV (Germany) Ideal (Netherlands)

(All prices quoted are including VAT)

Your subscription is activated immediately on receipt of payment, and this also marks the beginning of your billing cycle. For example, if you start a monthly subscription on the 5th of November, your next billing cycle begins on the 5th of December.

If you want to modify your subscription, you can do so on the Battle.net Account Management page.

NOTE: If you initially set up the account with a credit card, but want to switch to use only a prepaid game card or one of the other accepted payment methods, you must cancel the credit card subscription manually on your Battle.net Account Management page. Otherwise, when your prepaid game card runs out, the credit card subscription will begin and the credit card will be charged.
