2007-07-22 Battle.net Mobile Authenticator Now Available for More Phones
The Battle.net Mobile Authenticator, an optional security tool to help prevent unauthorized Battle.net account access, is now available for a wide range of mobile phones and carriers in the United States and Europe. The Battle.net Mobile Authenticator is a mobile application that generates a one-time password to use in addition to your regular account ID and password when logging in to a Battle.net account or any merged World of Warcraft accounts.

Visit mobile.blizzard.com to purchase the application -- and while you’re there, we’ve recently lowered the prices on our Blizzard Entertainment-themed ringtones and wallpapers. 2007-07-21 Blizzard Entertainment at gamescom 2009
We’re pleased to announce that Blizzard Entertainment will be attending gamescom 2009 in Cologne, Germany next month. We look forward to welcoming old friends and new to our booth, which will feature hands-on gameplay with our upcoming games. Our booth is open to the public from Thursday 20 August until Sunday 23 August.

Ever wanted to check your raid schedule, look up a piece of PvP gear, or concoct a new talent spec while on the go? The new World of Warcraft Mobile Armory app for iPhone and iPod touch lets you access the official Armory database from anywhere you have a mobile connection, and features much of the same functionality as the Armory website, including:
  • Search for and view any character, item, guild, or Arena team in World of Warcraft.
  • Seamlessly import your own character, guild, and Arena team profiles.
  • Access your in-game calendar of events.
  • View achievement-point leaderboards.
  • Plan out talent specs using the fully functional talent calculator.

2007-07-16 Blizzard на Euskal Encounter
We’re pleased to announce that Blizzard Entertainment will be present at the 17th edition of the Euskal Encounter in Bilbao, Spain. Euskal Encounter is a mass LAN event for amateur and professional computing enthusiasts which will take place in the Bilbao Exhibition Centre from July 23rd to 26th.

2007-07-16 BlizzCon Original Song and Fan Art Contests
We have expanded the international eligibility for our BlizzCon Original Song and Fan Art contests to include contestants from additional countries. You have until July 31 to enter these contests -- check the new Original Song contest rules or Fan Art contest rules for more information or to see if you’re able to enter. If you had previously submitted an entry into either contest, your submission will automatically be re-entered in the new contests. 2007-07-09 BlizzCon Contest Submissions Now Open
We are now accepting submissions for this year’s BlizzCon Movie, Original Song, and Fan Art contests.
