2009-03-20 Introducing the New Battle.net Account
We’re pleased to introduce the Battle.net account -- a brand-new way for players to manage their Blizzard Entertainment games, make online Blizzard store purchases, and more using just one set of login information.
In the near future, World of Warcraft players will be able to merge a World of Warcraft account (or multiple accounts) with a Battle.net account, and begin logging in to the game, the Armory, and the forums using their new Battle.net account login information.
Some of the other benefits of the Battle.net account include:
  • Fewer passwords to remember. One single login lets you access World of Warcraft (coming soon), the online Blizzard store, and more -- including upcoming games such as StarCraft II and Diablo III
  • Opt in to upcoming Blizzard Entertainment beta tests. Put yourself in the running to be invited to test upcoming games
  • Easy access to your classic games. Store your CD keys for classic Blizzard Entertainment titles, and then download the games whenever you wish
  • And more to come... We’re planning to add more features in the future, including tools to help friends communicate between games and bring players closer together

At this time, signing up is completely optional -- but if you’re interested in taking advantage of the benefits of the Battle.net account today, check out the FAQ for more information, or create an account now.

This contest is open to entrants from around the world, though all submissions must be in English. For more information, head to the contest page or read the official rules.

By visiting www.figureprints.com, players can design statues of the characters they play, posed the way they like, with all their favorite armor and weapons. The custom statues are manufactured using a high-tech 3D color printing technology and then hand-finished to produce one-of-a-kind works of art. 2009-02-27 Diablo III Bestiary Update: The Unburied
The Diablo 3 Bestiary now features a new creature from the realm of Sanctuary: the unburied.
Something is dreadfully wrong. Fear is in the air; I can feel it. I was but days out of Tristram when I saw a screaming ball of flame rip across the sky. Surely enough, soon after witnessing this harbinger of doom, I stumbled upon a badly mangled traveler. He was barely able to spit out the tale of the cursed monstrosity responsible for his broken body as his life drifted away. He called his killer "the unburied".
Check out the unburied entry now!

We've also expanded the media galleries with three new pieces of artwork and nine new screenshots.
