Assistant Localization Manager, German

Location: Velizy, France (southwest of Paris)
Permanent work contract
Starting Date: Immediate

• Head-up the German translators (7-10 people)
• Act as Linguistic Coordinator
• Manage the tasks and follow-ups for the German team
• Provide reporting and monitoring for the Localization Manager
• Coordination with other language Assistant Localization Managers for the translations of Blizzard games
• Coordination with the other departments for glossarial consistency
• Ensure consistency within the glossaries
• Ensure translations of Blizzard games and related assets
• Assist translators as required

REQUIREMENTS

• Native German language skills
• Excellent English language skills
• Excellent knowledge Blizzard games' mechanisms and background
• Good knowledge of MMORPG, consoles games, RTS and FPS games
• Previous experience as a team leader
• Strong motivation and high level of commitment
• Previous experience in game localization
• Experience in website localization and technologies
