Marketing Manager, Spain

Blizzard Entertainment Europe is looking for a Blizzard Marketing Manager to handle the Spanish market.

Location: based in Activision-Blizzard office, Spain
Countries to work with: Spain and Mediterranean countries, reporting to Blizzard European HQ in Paris
Brands: Blizzard Games (Diablo, Starcraft, Warcraft, and World of Warcraft)

Permanent work contract

• Along with your local PR colleague, you will represent and be the main contact for Blizzard on your market, which implies:
• Support and drive the local Activision-Blizzard sales forces
• Work with local advertising and media buying agencies
• Interface with local partner companies
• You are responsible for all marketing activities for the entire Blizzard catalog on your market, and in particular:
• Create and execute local marketing plans for our different ranges :
• permanent activities around World of Warcraft ;
• new titles release ;
• back-catalog management.
• Adapt and/or build local promotion and marketing actions around the Blizzard titles, with a focus on identifying local acquisition opportunities for World of Warcraft
• Relay locally the pan-European media strategy
• Work closely with the main trade partners to maximize Blizzard presence in retail
• You manage and control Blizzard marketing budget for your market.
• You monitor the local market (sales follow-up and analysis…) and act as the local expert for Blizzard for your territory, providing country level market intelligence to the rest of the organization.
• You work in team with the local European Marketing team located in Paris, and with the Local Marketing Managers in the other countries.
• Promote local initiatives to a European level
• Act as the local Blizzard expert in the Activision-Blizzard local office.

• Minimum 3-5 years marketing experience in the video game or relevant industry
• Deep knowledge of the trade and local game market
• English speaking
• Organized with a strong attention to detail
• Autonomy
• Passion for playing video games and knowledge of Blizzard games and universes.
