HR Manager - Cork Office

Location: Cork, Ireland
Permanent work contract
Starting Date: Immediate
Reports to: European HR Director and Cork Site Manager


RESPONSIBILITIES
The provision of day to day professional advice and support to individual staff, supervisors and line managers on a broad range of HR related matters including:
  • Employee relations: facilitate resolution of employee relations issues Represent the company in any HR issues that may arise. Comprehensive working knowledge of Irish employment legislation along with company policy is required.
  • Personnel Administration: ensure the effective administration of all HR topics in compliance with the Irish law (contracts, termination, resignation, disciplinary sanctions, etc)
  • Payroll Administration: to drive payroll outsourced to an external provider.
  • Talent Development: work with managers to ensure employees have meaningful performance reviews and development plans, and that managers are following-though with support of training activities, according to EU plans.
  • Organisational development: recommend, drive and implement HR projects, notably the negotiation and the implementation of tools and partners Take a leadership role in devising and implementing HR policies and processes, organisation planning, remuneration and communication plans, according to EU plans.
  • Management of the Irish HR team (assistants, and payroll specialist).
  • Reporting: provide analysis and monthly reporting information for Management and European HR Director.

REQUIREMENTS

  • The ideal candidate will be educated to Degree level in a HR or related discipline. CIPD qualification or equivalent is a minimum requirement.
  • 4+ years Human Resources generalist experience, preferably within a multicultural and a fast moving environment.
  • Ability to build and maintain excellent relationship at all levels in the EU organisation.
  • Prior people management experience will be an advantage.
  • Positive attitude and a flexible approach
  • Strong organizational and problem-solution skills.

PLUSES

  • Knowledge of French and/or German
