11-Jun-2010 New StarCraft II Footage Debuted During NBA Finals

On Thursday, June 10, a new StarCraft II TV spot featuring never-before-seen cinematic footage aired during the second quarter of game four of the NBA Finals between the Celtics and Lakers. The thirty-second spot featured voice-overs from two iconic characters in StarCraft II, and was cut from the pre-rendered cinematic sequences found throughout the game. 11-Jun-2010 Murlocs Captured on New Oversized Mug

The next oversized mug in Taverncraft's World of Warcraft Epic Collection series will feature Azeroth's favorite watery creature, the murlocs. The new stoneware mug, appropriately entitled RAWGRLRLRLRRLGLRL!!!, depicts an aggressive tribe of murlocs including Winterfin Oracle, Bluefin Murloc, and Murloc Tidehunter, and is topped with an exclusive murloc-themed solid pewter lid. RAWGRLRLRLRRLGLRL!!! is expected to ship this August, and is available for pre-order at http://wowsteins.com.

09-Jun-2010 Access the Auction House From (Just About) Anywhere
So you're wondering how your auction for that rare blacksmithing pattern is going, but the game isn't installed on any computers around you. Well, starting right now, you can view the World of Warcraft Auction House from just about anywhere where you have an Internet connection, via the Armory website, the Mobile Armory app for iPhone and iPod touch, or the new Remote Auction House app for Android™. We're pleased to announce that with the new Auction House section of the Armory, World of Warcraft players are now able to browse their characters’ local Auction Houses with the same search functionality available in the game, as well as see the real-time status of each of their current bids and auctions.

In addition, with a paid subscription to the new World of Warcraft Remote service, also launched today, you’ll be able to use the Armory website or mobile app to:
  • Post items for sale from your character’s bag, bank, or mailbox on your faction’s Auction House or the realm’s cross-faction Auction House.
  • Place bids or make buyout purchases on the Auction House.
  • Collect the gold earned from a successful auction or reclaim the gold from an unsuccessful bid.

07-Jun-2010 Second Batch of BlizzCon Tickets Sold Out
The second batch of tickets for BlizzCon 2010 has now been sold out. If you weren't able to get tickets this year, keep in mind that coverage of the gaming festival will also be offered by DIRECTV as a Pay Per View event, available both via satellite and multi-channel Internet stream. We laughed, we cried, we covered our eyes, we moved to the music, and we stared (wide-eyed) in wonder at the marvelous visions displayed throughout this contest. In the end, there were more outstanding submissions than we could have hoped for. Even so, there were those that rose above their fellows. Without further ado, we are pleased to announce our winners. If you were unable to purchase BlizzCon tickets during the first round of ticket sales, we just wanted to remind you that our second batch of BlizzCon 2010 tickets will be going on sale tomorrow, Saturday, June 5 at 7 p.m. (10 a.m. Pacific Time). Visit the ticket sales page then for a chance to get yours.

BlizzCon 2010 will take place October 22 and 23 at the Anaheim Convention Center, and tickets cost $150 USD each. For those unable to attend the show, in-depth coverage of BlizzCon will also be available as a Pay Per View multi-channel Internet stream -- keep an eye on BlizzCon site for more information in the near future.
