The Warcraft III 2010 Tournament is now underway. We've reset the Battle.net open Warcraft III ladder to even the playing field. As a reminder, all participants must have a Battle.net account that includes an associated valid email address to be eligible for the ladder contest. The top 100 players from the European region as of April 26, 9 p.m. CEST will have the chance to join the fray on the invitational ladder. For more information about the 2010 Tournament please see our FAQ and Rules. Good luck!
The Blizzard Fan Art Section has been updated with three new artwork from Diablo.
We hope you enjoyed our April Fools' Day events. If you missed them, check out this year's jokes:
Wars are won and lost on decisions made and the tactics deployed. Battle plans can change and the varied environments can be used to the advantage of both sides. One favoured and highly successful use of the terrain is performed by exploiting choke points -- filling up those bottlenecks with either organic fodder or durable constructions can not only hinder an enemies progression into your base, but at times also offer enough brute force to kill an entire army in its tracks. In this week's poll we ask you a little about your defensive strategies. Are you the type to barrier your base, or do you focus more on the offensive side of warfare?
For those lucky Beta participants we have a poll just for you guys! As you're no doubt aware, there was a ladder reset last week. We're positive you've been going through your placement matches once more, so we're asking you how your placement matches went!
