We're pleased to announce the Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne 2010 Tournament. The upcoming tournament will use a similar format to those of previous years, with three invitational ladders hosted on the Kalimdor, Northrend, and Azeroth Gateways. Once again, these ladders will initially be populated on an invitation-only basis and feature the world's most established and successful Warcraft III players. Each will function as a standard Battle.net solo ladder, with their own Web interface displaying rankings, and their own map pools. We will be resetting the open ladder on March 29 for those interested in participating. For more information and details on the tournament, please check out the FAQ.

The StarCraft universe is rich, vast and overshadowed by the scars of battle. The Terran, Zerg and Protoss armies duke it out on the surface of various planetary systems battling for supremacy, and in some cases simply for survival. With some on the hunt for the legendary artefacts left behind by the psionically-attuned Xel'naga, and others out for the blood of their foes, the races can only achieve what they desire by doing one thing and one thing only: crushing everyone in their path! All these races have their heroes - and we are curious; Who is your favourite character? Perhaps you would like to tell us, and your reasons why, by checking out this poll!
On top of that, we have a second poll running this week, dedicated to the StarCraft II beta testers: Do you use keybindings to manage your units and production?
We held our most recent Developer Chat on Twitter on last Friday night with StarCraft II Game Director Dustin Browder and Production Director Chris Sigaty! To read the full transcript of this very detailed Developer Chat, check the thread on our Community forums.

Four worthy individuals heard the Rise to Power contest’s call and provided us with the tales of ascension we requested. Check out the official rules or visit the contest website for more information.
Important note for all European and Korean participants: If you have already submitted artwork for this contest please make sure to visit the contest site and resubmit your artwork.
