Blizzard Entertainment is pleased to announce that World of Warcraft will be released in Brazil, fully localized into Brazilian Portuguese. Brazilian players will be able to purchase localized versions of World of Warcraft and its expansions later this year. Make yourself at home on the new community forums, check out the latest Invitational and BlizzCon updates, and share news items via Twitter, Facebook, and more. As we get closer to BlizzCon, the new site will be your headquarters for panel schedules, lists of activities to look for at the convention, tournament updates, and lots more, so be sure to check in often.

Surely you’ve heard the news by now: Blizzard Entertainment will be at gamescom 2011 in Cologne, Germany, from August 17 to 21, and we’ve got a whole host of fun and games waiting for you.

You an eSports fan? Come and enjoy the StarCraft II show matches, featuring some of the best players on the planet. Want to witness top guilds’ abilities and precision? For the Horde and Ensidia will confront the latest dangers to threaten Azeroth in World of Warcraft Live Raids.

If that’s not enough to satisfy your insatiable appetite for entertainment then make sure to take part in our activities and show the gamescom 2011 audience your talent.

  • Become your character and show off your style in the Blizzard costume contest! Terran, goblin, zerg or worgen. Mage, zealot, warrior or overlord. Your imagination is the only limit!
  • Choose a World of Warcraft race, put on your dancing shoes, and prepare to dazzle the audience as you show us your moves. That’s right, it’s the Blizzard dance contest!

08-Jul-2011 Mobile Authenticator for Windows® 7 Phones

The Mobile Authenticator, an application for mobile phones that provides an extra layer of account security, is now available as a free download for Windows® Phone 7 devices on the Windows Phone Marketplace. The Mobile Authenticator provides a one-time password that you use in addition to your regular account name and password when you log in to a account to play World of Warcraft or StarCraft II.
