Fan Art Contest

The official BlizzCon Fan Art Contest is back for 2009 and we’re looking for talented artists to once more put their imagination to work on creating Warcraft, StarCraft, or Diablo universe-inspired pieces of art.

Submit your work in one of the formats listed in the official rules beginning July 7. The artwork of the three winners will be displayed on the Blizzard.com fan art webpage, accessible through Worldofwarcraft.com and the Blizzard.com homepage. Winning entries will also be displayed at BlizzCon 2009.

Movie Contest

Ever since the first “talkie,” people have been mixing sound and motion to create amazing tales of drama, horror, love, and humor. We’re looking for your very best stories of life in Azeroth for this year’s BlizzCon Movie Contest. Contestants are challenged to tell an original and compelling story using game footage from World of Warcraft in three minutes or less.

Submit your movie starting July 7 and we’ll pick the four winning entries to be shown at BlizzCon. But beyond having their work viewed by the thousands in attendance, the winners will also be awarded with some amazing prizes.

Original Song Contest

Sometimes a song can express more than a thousand words. In keeping with this spirit, we’re once again calling all masters of sound to create some touching, comical, or just plain awesome songs grounded in the Warcraft, StarCraft, or Diablo universes. Fill our ears with powerfully emotional melodies in two minutes or less and you’ll have a chance to reap some fantastic rewards.

Submit your song beginning July 7 and we’ll pick three winning entries, the creators of which will be awarded the great prizes below. If that’s not enough, your song may just be played for everyone attending BlizzCon or watching from home.

Dance Contest

Back by popular demand, the BlizzCon Dance Contest challenges the ordinary and extraordinary to step into the blinding lights of the stage, stare into the judging eyes of their friends and peers, and shake their groove thing. Contestants will be scored on their ability to faithfully recreate the dances seen within World of Warcraft.
